Our Mission

From birth to death, women influence their environment, their loved ones, and their personal health, including pregnancy. The Heidi Group plans to make available to Texas girls and women a free pregnancy test and ultrasound delivered through a local pregnancy resource center by expanding the pro-life network to smaller, unserved towns.

It is our promise to connect girls and women in unplanned pregnancies with a safe space to consider their options with an ultrasound and fully informed consent. Families will be strengthened for generations to come.

The Heidi Group was founded in 1995 to offer the choice of life, both physical and eternal, to girls and women in unplanned pregnancies. The founder, Carol Everett's, unique experience of marketing abortions and operating abortion facilities before coming to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ, offers an insider's approach to the dirty business of the abortion industry. While many believe abortion is a choice, Carol's personal experience details the deliberate efforts of the abortion industry to encourage sexual activity outside of marriage. When contraceptives fail, the abortion industry's only answer is abortion.

The Heidi Group's influence has reached all fifty states as Carol travels the nation sharing her personal experiences of involvement in the sale, risks, and provision of abortion services. Areas of service have changed over the years. Carol first educated the public through speaking engagements, television and radio shows. Finally, the focus became clear. Carol's calling is pregnancy resource centers. The Heidi Group offers strategic planning and fundraising. The latest project is expanding the Texas pro-life community by planting pregnancy resource centers in unserved communities to offer a free pregnancy test and a quality ultrasound. The ultrasound will detail the development and heartbeat of the baby as early as 6 weeks, and earlier in some cases.

Since the Texas pro-life movement is experiencing a surge in mothers-to-be choosing life, it is time to open maternity homes. Residences for mothers-to-be can support the mother during pregnancy and beyond as she focuses on education and becoming self-sufficient.
